A range of specialised marking products (both overt and covert) have been developed by our R&D team to suit the item being marked and the customer's specific requirements.
REGISTER
Detailed information about the vehicle or item is recorded under the unique code on the UK-based ISR, a secure and confidential database, owned and operated exclusively by Retainagroup. It holds accurate details of ownership and other specific data - such as vehicle key security codes - for a wide range of marked property.
The ISR currently holds information on over 13 million vehicles, 30 million security codes and over 1 million other valuable assets.
VERIFY
The 24/7 manned ISR contact line (no answer machines or recorded messages) provides an all year round, immediate verification service for vehicle or asset identity, ownership and Police National Computer stolen vehicle status. It enables anyone - the general public, businesses, police and security forces - to instantly verify ownership of property listed on the Register with just one phone call to the UK based ISR contact number.
The ISR also operates Security Desk Services for maintaining and providing to authorised parties under strict security protocols (Thatcham audited), other highly sensitive information, such as vehicle key codes. All ISR operators are highly trained and security vetted to British Standard BS7858.
RETAIN
Thieves know that ownership of a marked vehicle or valuable item can be verified immediately by police, insurers or members of the public 24/7/365, with just one phone call to the ISR. This dramatically increases the risk of detection and limits the means of disposal, and therefore value, of the stolen vehicle or other asset.
Lifetime* Registration
Once marked and registered the vehicle or valuable asset is protected for life. There is no annual subscription or fee unless a change of ownership takes place. All enquiries to the ISR are processed for free, so verification of data costs just the price of a phone call.
